The eighth leading scorer in Lehigh school history, Matt Logie is in his fifth season as an assistant coach and first as the associate head coach at his alma mater.  Logie re-joined the Mountain Hawks coaching staff for his second stint prior to the 2007-08 season.  He had previously served on the Lehigh staff from 2003-06, first as the Director of Basketball Operations and then as an assistant coach.  Among his many duties while at Lehigh, Logie was responsible for on and off campus recruiting, opponent scouting, individual skill development sessions, summer camps and team travel.  He was instrumental in the Mountain Hawks 2004 Patriot League Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance.  During his four-year span on Lehigh’s staff, the Brown and White won the most games in school history. 

 

During his playing days at Lehigh, Logie scored 1,524 career points and his 262 three-point field goals is still tops in school annals.  In addition, Logie is the top free throw shooter in the history of the Patriot League at 90.7 percent.  He graduated from Lehigh in 2003 and earned his masters in Educational Leadership in 2006. 

 

Logie spent the 2006-07 season at Kent State University as the Director of Basketball Operations in which he was responsible for the academic progress of the program’s student-athletes in addition to developing video edits for scouting and skill development and assisting in practice development, skill instruction development and team conditioning.  Logie was also responsible for all of the program’s administrative duties, including team travel, film exchange and compliance.
