BEFORE LEHIGH
Whitlock is a 6'2 guard from Brooklyn Park, Minnesota and attended basketball powerhouse DeLaSalle High School in Minneapolis. He averaged 26 points, seven assists and five rebounds per contest as senior. Nasir scored over 1850 points in high school and owns the DeLaSalle school record for single points in a game with 52. He is a three-time Tri-Metro All-Conference selection and was conference MVP his senior season. Whitlock was named to the All-State first team on top of winning the 2023 Minnesota Mr. Basketball and McDonald Awards as the state’s top player his senior season. He was also named Metro Player of the Year. Whitlock is a three-time section champion and two-time state championship runner-up during his career as a three-year varsity starter and two-year captain.

He is a bright young man who has a passion for basketball as well as his I desire to get a great degree from an excellent university. The fit for both Lehigh and Nasir became apparent. I look forward to working with him over his undergraduate career."
