2013-14 (Senior Season)
Led the team with 32 blocks and paced the Mountain Hawk defense...posted six points at Colgate (3/1)...tossed in six points on 3-of-4 shooting vs. Bucknell (2/26)...made her first career start against Boston University (2/1)...finished with four blocks at Bucknell (1/29)...recorded a career-high seven blocks while also chipping in six points and four rebounds at Lafayette (1/25)...tallied four points and one rebound against Navy (1/22)...posted five points while also adding a block against Colgate (1/2)...grabbed a season-high seven rebounds against Saint Peter’s (12/9)...recorded a career high five blocks against Mount St. Mary’s (11/19) while also contributing six points, five rebounds and two assists...named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
2012-13 (Junior Season)
Played in 23 games…scored four points and had three boards vs. Holy Cross (2/10)…blocked three shots at Lafayette (1/26)…pulled down five rebounds at Colgate (1/19)…scored career-high 10 points and pulled down career-best eight rebounds against Niagara (12/8).
2011-12 (Sophomore Season)
Played in 15 games, posting 10 points and nine rebounds on the season…Had two points and a rebound against American (2/8)…Knocked down only field goal attempt in win over Holy Cross (1/7)…Posted two points in two rebounds vs. NJIT (12/7)…Scored a career-high four points, while adding two boards, at Sacred Heart (11/16)…Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
2010-11 (Freshman Season)
Appeared in 20 games…Recorded a block and an assist in five minutes against La Salle (1/2)...Had three blocks and two rebounds in just four minutes against Wagner (12/11)...Tallied two points and one rebound in a win over Howard (11/28)...Recorded two blocks in just two minutes played against Princeton (11/21)...Played 10 minutes in her first career action at Duquesne (11/12), netting two points, grabbing a rebound and adding a blocked shot.
BEFORE LEHIGH
A native of Burlington, Ontario, Yantzi brings a resume full of basketball experience to the Mountain Hawks, which includes high school, club and national experience. Yantzi played for the U15 and U17 Canadian national teams and helped lead them to gold medals. Yantzi led Burlington Central to a city championship in her freshman and sophomore years, as well as St. Mary’s to one in her senior season. An honors student, Yantzi coaches in basketball camps, volunteers at schools and churches and can speak both English and French.

What’s your favorite thing about Lehigh? I am able to be more than a basketball player at Lehigh. I can push myself and become the best person that I can possibly be in the classroom, on the court and in various student organizations.
Major & Why: English and French Double Major + Secondary Education Masters. I love language. Language is extremely empowering, and I think that language and culture are beautiful things. I’d love to teach the pricelessness of language to others when I graduate.
Favorite Class at Lehigh: All of them! They have different feels, different focuses and they all contribute to a greater love and understanding of learning.

If I Didn't Play Basketball, I Would: Compete in Track and Field: Javelin
If I Had $1 Billion, I Would: Donate a large amount to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. I’d save, treat my family and by myself a 1965 Mustang :)
