In high school … played for coach David Vales … served as team captain and led her team to an appearance in the Sweet 16 in Class 4A last season … garnered a spot on the Chicago Sun-Times list of the top-50 players in the state to watch … was selected as the Best and Brightest Player in the Star Newspaper … received All-Conference distinction from the same outlet … member of the club Celtic Force for the past six years … played for the 18-1 team in 2006 and the 17-1 team in 2007, finishing 31st and 11th, respectively, in the National Division at the Junior Olympic National Championships … member of the National Honor Society, the Mu Alpha Theta Society, the Business Professionals of America, and an Illinois State scholar … received the All-American Athlete Award from her high school for four consecutive years … earned a spot on the high honor roll for four straight years.
