COACH TROYAN ON PEARCE: "Sarah is an extremely versatile post player who possesses the ability to run the floor in transition, play with her back to the basket and play facing the basket while being able to step out and shoot the three. She’s a very strong rebounder with a good sense for the ball and very good athleticism."

2011-12 (JUNIOR SEASON)
Strong season, playing in 28 games (11 starts) while averaging 4.1 points and 2.6 rebounds…Shot 43.6 percent from the field (41-of-94) and 73.1 percent from the free throw line (19-of-26)…Scored five points in 17 minutes at Navy (1/25)…Posted 11 points via 4-of-6 shooting against Rhode Island (12/29)…Tied a career-high 13 points vs. Villanova (11/30). Played 40-of-45 minutes in the overtime thriller…Had 12 points at Wagner (11/27) three days earlier…Impressed with seven points and seven rebounds against Monmouth (11/25)…Eight points and six rebounds in home opener vs. Saint Peter’s (11/19)…Posted 13 points and seven rebounds at Sacred Heart (11/16), one game after putting up 10 points and six boards at Saint Joseph’s (11/13)…Named to third straight Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

Scored five points and had a steal against La Salle (1/2)...Hit two field goals and totaled six points in a 76-58 win over Wagner (12/11)...In nine minutes of action at Saint Peters (12/7), grabbed two steals...Had four points on 2-of-2 shooting against Howard (11/28)...Hit a three-pointer in one minute of action against LSU (11/26)...Grabbed two rebounds, a block and steal in the season opener at Duquesne (11/12)…Member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
2009-10 (FRESHMAN SEASON)
Played in 20 games…Grabbed a career-high three rebounds vs. Colgate (2/17)…Dropped in a career-high four points against NJIT (12/18) and Colgate (2/17)…Scored first-career points (2) at La Salle (11/29)…Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
BEFORE LEHIGH:
Pearce was a McDonald’s All-America nominee after her senior season with Bishop Fenwick High School in Franklin, Ohio. Pearce also took home First Team Cincinnati Enquirer and First Team Dayton Daily News All Area honors last season. She was a Third Team Ohio All-State (Div. III) selection and First Team AP Southwest District selection. Pearce averaged 13.2 points per game and 7.4 rebounds per game in her senior season with Bishop Fenwick, eclipsing the 1,000-point plateau for her career during that time.
