Whitlock Earns NABC All-District Second Team Recognition

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) released its All-District teams and District Coaches of the Year on Tuesday morning. Junior captain Nasir Whitlock was named to the Mid-Atlantic District second team.
The All-District honors are voted on by NABC-member coaches across NCAA Division I. The Mid-Atlantic District is comprised of schools in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Washington D.C.
Whitlock has had a sensational season for the Mountain Hawks, averaging a Patriot League best 21.0 points per game on an efficient 47.6% from the floor and 44.5% from three. The first team All-Patriot League selection guided second-seeded Lehigh to its fourth overall Patriot League championship on Wednesday and was named Tournament MVP in the process.
No. 16 Lehigh will take on No. 16 Prairie View A&M on Wednesday, March 18 at 6:40 p.m. in Dayton, Ohio in the NCAA Tournament First Four. The game will be broadcast on truTV and is available on Fox Sports Radio 94.7 FM and 1230 AM.
