Lehigh D1 added to its great start to the season Saturday night, sweeping Canisius on the weekend and winning 5-2. Lehigh scored 5 goals in the first period, led by 2 goals and 1 assist from Mason Goldstein and 2 assists by Max Toomey. Demetri Condolios was strong in net stopping 36 of 38 shots, while the defense did not let up many chances in the third period to thwart a comeback attempt from Canisius. Lehigh welcomes another non-conference opponent in West Virginia next weekend.
