Albrecht Named to Academic All-District Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh women's basketball senior forward Maddie Albrecht earned another academic honor as she was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team, as announced last week.Â
To be eligible for the Academic All-District team, student-athletes must have a 3.50 cumulative GPA and be a starter or key contributor in their sport. First-year student-athletes are not eligible for Academic All-District or Academic All-America honors
Albrecht was Lehigh's lone representative on the Academic All-Patriot League team, which was announced in March. The Billings, Mont,. native holds a 3.78 GPA in Biology. Albrecht is a three-time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll member.Â
Albrecht garnered third team All-Patriot League honors after a breakout season in 2023-24, where she averaged 9.7 points per game and 4.7 rebounds per game. She finished in double figures 11 times and recorded a career-high of 28 points and a career-high of 10 rebounds against Army West Point on Feb. 21.
 Lehigh finished the season with a 17-13 record.Â
