BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh head men's basketball coach Dr. Brett Reed announced the signings of Caesar Burrows, Caleb Thomas and Andrew Urosevic to Lehigh's graduating class of 2029. The trio will join a Lehigh team that is comprised of over 50% underclassmen.

"This incoming first-year class brings a lot of skill and helps us replenish some of the perimeter play that has been strong from our graduating class," said Reed. "All three of these young men bring the ability to shoot, make plays off the dribble, and should complement the returning players on our roster quite well. I'm very pleased to welcome these fine student-athletes to Lehigh. Each of them is passionate about basketball, but also understands the incredible value that a Lehigh degree can provide for their future."

Burrows is a 6'3 guard from Marietta, Georgia who has had an excellent basketball career in the Atlanta area. In addition to playing at Walton High School, Burrows is also a member of the Atlanta Allstars AAU travel team. He is a two-time first team All-Region selection, a second team All-County selection and was the Pope Holiday Tournament MVP in 2023. Off the court, Burrows is on the executive board for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and is a student youth leader at Buckhead Church in Atlanta. Burrows' sister, Lauryn, played collegiate volleyball at Florida State and Tulane.

"Caesar is a versatile basketball player, he can play with the ball in his hands and he also can play off the ball," said Reed. "We're looking for him to be that complete player to influence the game on offense and also use his athleticism, size and quickness on the defensive end of the floor as well."

Thomas joins Lehigh by way of Atlanta, Georgia, joining his future classmate Burrows as commits from the greater Atlanta area. Thomas plays at Combine Academy in North Carolina, which is part of the nationally run Overtime Elite league. He has also played for Team Thad EYBL and within the Nike EYBL, which is a highly competitive youth basketball league. During his high school career, Thomas has been a first team All-State selection, first team All-Region selection and was a 1,000-point scorer at Pebblebrook High School. Off the court, Thomas has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA throughout high school.

"Caleb Thomas is a consummate point guard," said Reed. "He's a very good on-floor communicator and organizer, he shoots the ball very well, and he's got an element of determination the way in which he competes and leads his team. I'm pleased with his basketball IQ and feel, and those attributes should allow him to naturally transition to our more open type of offensive style."

Urosevic will join first-year Edouard Benoit as the second player from Canada on roster, as he hails from Kitchener, Ontario. The 6'3 guard starred at Northfield Mount Hermon High School and has played in the several travel teams, including two in the EYBL. Urosevic is a U17 national champion with Team Ontario, U17 Tournament first team All Star with Team Ontario, an OSBA Pool B first team All-League member and was an alternate for the U18 Canadian National Team. Urosevic was also named the MVP of the National Biosteel Next Ones Up, which features the top players in the country. In addition to basketball, Urosevic also competed in track and field, cross country and baseball in high school.

"Andrew is a marksman," said Reed. "He shoots the ball extremely well and is a threat from deep range and can be used well coming off of screens. That perimeter shooting ability provides more space for our other offensive players on the floor and makes him a continual threat."

Lehigh continues the 2024-25 campaign on Wednesday, November 20 for the team's home opener against Valley Forge.
