Wilson Named Third Team All-Patriot League Honoree

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – In the midst of a career season, Lehigh men's basketball senior Marques Wilson has been named a third team All-Patriot League honoree, as announced on Tuesday. Wilson leads the Mountain Hawks and stands 10th in the league in scoring, averaging 15.1 points per game.

Wilson has scored double-figure points in nine of the 14 regular season games, including 20 points on four occasions. His season started on an impressive note, tying a career-high 28 points in the opener vs. Lafayette, including a long buzzer-beating 3-pointer in overtime. That evening, the shot led SportsCenter as Scott Van Pelt's best thing he saw today.

Wilson also eclipsed 20 points at Bucknell (26), at Holy Cross (20) and at Lafayette (22). He's also averaging a career-high 2.9 assists per game (seventh in the Patriot League) and 1.6 steals per contest (tied for fifth in the league). Wilson is shooting 44.1 percent from the field and grabbing 3.8 rebounds per contest.
Wilson and the Mountain Hawks return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Boston University for the first round of the Patriot League Tournament. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. on ESPN+ and Lehigh Valley Fox Sports Radio 1230/1320 AM and 94.7 FM.
