Lehigh was visited by Indiana University of Pennsylvania this weekend for two matchups. Friday Night the Mountain Hawks recognized their seniors Patrick Walgren, Scott Mogerley, Adam Goldstein, Justin Uzcategui, and Ryan Staffen. The game didn't go quite as planned for the Mountain Hawks, as they found themselves down 2-0 after the first period. Lehigh answered back to cut the deficit in half with a goal from Evan Golstein. IUP would answer right away to extend the lead to 3-1. Adam Goldstein would get Lehigh back to within 3-2 with a little over half the second period left. IUP would score 2 more goals in the period and the second period would end with IUP up 5-2. Lehigh couldnt get anything to fall in the third period and IUP would add another goal and take the game 6-2.

Lehigh returned Saturday afternoon with determination to get a better outcome than the previous night. Lehigh would grab the 2-0 lead this time around with 2 goals from Henry Brooks, the second of which was a gorgeous tic-tac-toe play from Kevin McGee to Chris Ramondelli to Henry Brooks on the doorstep. The first period would end with Lehigh ahead 2-0. IUP would get the lone goal in the second to cut the lead to 2-1. 29 seconds into the third period, Chris Ramondelli extended the lead to 3-1. IUP would comeback, scoring a powerplay goal minutes later to make it 3-2, and score another powerplay goal with 6 minutes to go to tie the game 3-3. The game would go to overtime. Just a minute into the extra session IUP was able to get a chance in front of Lehigh's net and put it home for the win. The Final score, IUP-4 Lehigh-3.Â
Lehigh completes the regular season 14-11-1 and has clinched the #2 seed in the ECHA playoffs. Lehigh will receive a first round bye and play in the semi-finals on Saturday at 4:15pm at Ice Works Arena in Aston, PA.Â
