Ice Hockey Loses to Towson
11/12/2016 2:14:00 PM | Men's Ice Hockey (ACHA D1)
The Ice Hockey team competed for 2 periods and then had lapses that allowed Towson to gain a 5-2 victory in an all-important league game. The score was tied 1-1 after the first period. Lehigh scored on the power play to lead 2-1 for most of the second period. However, a turnover in their own end allowed Towson to tie the score with 30 seconds left in the period. Towson started the third period scoring with a power play goal to lead 3-2. They followed that goal up with a forehand rocket high into the top of the net beyond Andrew Carlin. After taking a major penalty and giving up a 5 on 3 goal, the game ended 5-2.
