Amanda (Stone) and Steve Greenblatt '89 share some of their rivalry experiences. Though Steve fondly remembers everything from the weekends surrounding the rivalry games, he narrowed down his memories to point to one of his favorite experiences from the Lehigh-Lafayette games - getting a piece of the goalpost. Â

"It was so stupid - it's a piece of wood.... but you fought so hard to bring it back to your house."Â The "intense sense of pride" Steve talks about is what turns a "silly" ritual into something that becomes so important.Â
And the importance of this tradition, and overall fun of the entire experience, was apparent as Steve's face beamed with a big, bright smile as he shared his stories with us. The Rivalry will do that to you.Â
