Lehigh takes early 2-0 advantage but falls to 6-3 to #22 Navy

The Mountain Hawks came out strong and determined in the first period taking a 2-0 lead on goals by #23 Kevin Melone at the :27 sec mark and #17 Henry Brooks at the 5:58 mark. Navy then fired back with 3 straight goals in the first on 2 back to back tallies by #8 Tommy Krysil at 8:12 and 16:21 of the period. Navy then finished off the scoring in the 1st on a late goal at the 19:30 mark by #29 Thomas Buckley. The goalies and defense shined in the second period with Lehigh's #31 Paul Sjostrom facing 15 shots and Navy's #35 Matt Truninger facing 10 shots, with neither net minder allowing a goal. The scoring continued in the 3rd period though on an unassisted goal by Navy's #7 Dan O'Hear at the 2:47 mark. Navy's #8 Tommy Krysil completed the hat trick with his third goal of the night at the 8:30 mark. Lehigh came back strong on #17 Henry Brooks's 2nd goal of the night at the 10:45 mark of the period. This finished off the scoring for the game and Navy left Bethlehem with a 6-3 win.
