BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The 2009-10 regular season comes to a close on Saturday evening as Lehigh plays host to Holy Cross on Senior Night.  The Mountain Hawks are looking to wrap up their first outright Patriot League title in school history as well as the top seed for the upcoming postseason tournament, which would give Lehigh homecourt advantage throughout.  The Mountain Hawks rolled past Bucknell on Wednesday at home by a score of 81-59 as freshman C.J. McCollum scored a game-high 29 points and in the process became the highest scoring freshman in league history.  Holy Cross has dropped three of its last four contests, including a tough 79-74 decision to Colgate in overtime on Wednesday in Massachusetts.

Lehigh will honor its senior class of Dave Buchberger, Zahir Carrington, Marquis Hall and Matt Shamis prior to Saturday evening’s game.  The four captains have combined for 3,221 points and 1,390 rebounds while leading the Brown and White to 58 overall wins and 28 Patriot League victories during their careers.

Lehigh leads the Patriot League in scoring offense at 74.9 points per game overall and 78.9 during league play.  For the first time in school annals, Lehigh has scored 70+ points in 17 straight games, including a season-best 91 at Colgate on February 17.  The Mountain Hawks also rank first in the league in scoring margin (+3.4), and three-point percentage (38.9) and are second in field goal percentage (44.9).

Saturday’s game tips off at 7:35 from inside of Stabler Arena.  Tickets are available by logging onto Lehighsports.com or at the arena box office prior to tip-off.
