Mountain Hawks can’t hang with Ohio

“We set the tone offensively with our early struggles,” said head coach Sue Troyan. “The team fought hard and our defense did a good job. We have ten days before we play again, so we have some time to work on those things.”
The Mountain Hawks were slow out of the gate in the first half, shooting just 9-of-32 from the floor and missed all six of their three-point attempts.
Melissa Rich led the Brown and White with eight points and three rebounds in the half. Smith also chipped in with six points, two rebounds and one steal. Haly Crites led both teams with eight rebounds.
Jackie Hiebert and Simone Redd each scored a half high six points for the Bobcats.
Lehigh got out to a better start in the second half, decreasing the
