Mountain Hawks bested by Bucknell at Stabler

The Bison raced out to an early lead behind some hot jump-shooting early. Bucknell connected on eight of its first ten shots en route to a 16-7 lead early. Bucknell would lead by as many as 11, but the Mountain Hawks clawed their way back in the final minutes, as three Blount jumpers sparked a 6-0 run and Lehigh went into halftime trailing 27-22.
Callan nearly earned her double-double in the first half, finishing with nine points and ten boards. Blount added eight and six caroms in the opening 20 minutes.
Lehigh continued to battle in the second half but when junior Emily Geosits drilled two free throws to pull the Brown and White within four with just under 13 minutes to play, it would be the closest the Mountain Hawks would get.
Blount finished with a game high 18 points and established a new career high with 15 rebounds. Callan added 13 points and 17 boards for the Mountain Hawks. Lehigh struggled from beyond the three-point arc, connecting on just two of 12 attempts.
Lindsey Hollobaugh led Bucknell with 16 points, while Lauren Schober added 14 points and Hope Foster added 10 points eight boards and three blocks.
