BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh takes to the road for the second consecutive game on Wednesday evening, as the Mountain Hawks go up against Sacred Heart, and look to break a five-game road losing streak that dates back to February 11 at Army. Both of these teams have struggled of late, as Lehigh has dropped two of its last three games, and the Pioneers come in having lost four of their last five, but did defeat Army on Monday at home, 76-62. The game features an intriguing matchup, as Lehigh will rely primarily on the play of its backcourt and wing players, while the Pioneers will lean on its strong frontcourt, headed by Kibwe Trim and Jarrid Frye.
After suffering through injuries a season ago, junior Kyle Neptune is now healthy and it shows. The Lehigh leads the Patriot League in blocked shots with 26 through eight games, for an average of 3.25 per contest, with Bryan White swatting away a league-best 1.25 per game. The Mountain Hawks have had four games of at least four blocked shots, with a season-high of five vs. Eastern.
