Olivero named Patriot League Player of the Week

Olivero currently leads the Patriot League in scoring at 16.4 points per game and is just 112 points away from becoming the school’s 26th 1,000 point scorer. The mathematics major has been logging major minutes of late as well, playing 37 against Sacred Heart and another 35 versus Harvard. For the year, Olivero is averaging 34 minutes per contest as he splits time between both the shooting and point guard slots. Olivero has now led Lehigh in scoring and assists six times this season, and for his career has posted 11 games of 20+ points, including two this year.
Olivero and the Mountain Hawks return to action on Monday evening versus Monmouth, with the game scheduled to tip-off at 7:05 from Stabler Arena. Tickets can be purchased by calling 610-7LU-GAME or prior to the game at the arena box office. The contest will be broadcast live on ESPN Radio 1230 and 1320 AM as well as lehighsports.com with streaming audio provided by Yahoo! Sports.
