Having won two games in a row, Lehigh looks to extend its streak on Saturday vs. American. The Mountain Hawks are coming of a hard fought 61-49 victory over Bucknell Tuesday, at Stabler Arena. The win was the 11th home win of the season and 12th home win in a row, dating back to the 2001-2002 season. Lehigh’s 12 game home winning streak ranks within the top 20 nationally. Lehigh is also tied with Mercer for the best turnaround in the NCAA. Both teams are +10 in their respective win totals this season.

The last time out against American, Lehigh won in dramatic fashion. The Mountain Hawks were trailing the Eagles for a majority of the contest, however, a Matt Logie steal lead to a fast break layup by Nick Monserez. Monserez would be fouled, convert on his free throw attempt, and Lehigh went on to win 57-54. Zlatko Savovic finished the game as the Mountain Hawks’ top scorer, posting 18 points. Matt Logie scored 17 in the winning cause as well.

Last year at Bender Arena, American picked up a 70-67 victory. Logie scored almost half of Lehigh’s points that day, posting a career high of 33.
