Iwaskiewicz’s name is synonymous with defense. Managing the game between the pipes is what set her apart as well as a career goals-against average of 1.94. It comes as no surprise that her leadership, athleticism, and academic success earned her a place on the Patriot League's 25th Anniversary Team in 2015.
She became Lehigh’s starting goalkeeper as a first-year and held that role for all four of her varsity years. Named First Team All-Patriot League in her sophomore year, she retained that honor for the next two years, and added to it. As a junior she was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year and as a senior the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year.
Her leadership on and off the field was recognized by Lehigh as well. She won the women’s soccer Outstanding Athlete award as a sophomore and the women’s soccer Coaches Award as a senior. CoSIDA placed her on its Academic All-District First Team.
The two-time captain totaled 294 career saves and transformed the Mountain Hawk team, helping lead the squad to the Patriot League championship game as a senior.
Her influence on the pitch continued for several years after Lehigh. She served as a graduate assistant coach at Indiana State University and an assistant coach at Bucknell University before she had a homecoming as an assistant women’s soccer coach at Lehigh.
She earned two masters degrees and continues to leverage the skills from her masters in emerging media. For more than 15 years, she has worked as a Boston-based designer, specializing in sports production and game presentation.Â
She worked at Lehigh as part of the athletics multimedia team and then transitioned to senior director of creative & video at the America East Conference, a Division I collegiate athletic conference in the Northeastern United States.
She currently serves as a video editor and motion graphic designer on the creative team at Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment, where she develops content for high-profile sporting events, including the Super Bowl, Home Run Derby, College Football Playoff National Championship, and NCAA March Madness and Final Four.
