The California native helped lead her team to three appearances in the CIF State Championship Northern Region quarterfinals and a trip to semifinals during her high school career. The four-time scholar-athlete award winner capped her career as two-time all-league selection and was named to the Sacramento Senior All-Star Team. Farrell participated in the AVCA Phenom Program and named to the AVCA Under Armour All-America Watch List. At the club level, Farrell was part of USA Volleyball national training program throughout her high school years and was part of the USAV U16 National Championship team.
