BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh men's cross country team opens their 2026 campaign on the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course as the Mountain Hawks will host the Lehigh Invitational on Friday. Head coach Debbie Utesch enters her second season leading the men's cross country program after returning to the role in 2025. Utesch has served as Lehigh's women's cross country head coach since 1996 and previously led both the men's and women's programs from 1996-2008. The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced on Thursday the selection of both the men's and women's cross country teams as All-Academic Teams for the 2025 cross country season. This distinction represents success both on the course and in the classroom. The men's team posted a team cumulative grade point average of 3.50, while the women averaged 3.42, which both qualified them for the award.
