BETHLEHEM, Pa. - After two straight home games, the Lehigh women's lacrosse team will head to Lewisburg on Saturday for a 1 p.m. battle against Bucknell.

The Mountain Hawks are 6-4 (1-3 PL) and the Bison are 5-5 (1-2 PL).

Lehigh had won six straight games before dropping three straight against ranked opponents: No. 9 Loyola, No.25 Navy and No.13 Army. The Mountain Hawks took the Black Knights down to the wire in a 15-14 loss Wednesday. Lehigh came out strong and led 7-1 after one quarter but Army battled back to earn the one-goal win to remain undefeated on the season.

Senior Katia Carnevale had six goals against Army. Five of her goals were recorded in the 6-0 run that Lehigh went on in the first quarter.

Bucknell is coming off a 16-13 loss to Colgate. The Bison were leading 8-6, but the Raiders went on an 8-0 run to help push them past the Bison.

Gabby Schneider finished with one goal and two assists against Army. She tied the program record for most assists (105) and recorded her 200th career point Wednesday night. The senior also needs just four more goals to hit the 100-goal mark. Schneider moved up into eighth-place for most points in program history. She sits just one point behind Karyn Yost, who is in seventh.

Schneider isn't the only one who has the potential to hit a milestone for Lehigh women's lacrosse. Emma Eberhardt is five goals away from scoring her 100th career goal. Eberhardt didn't score against Army, but she had four assists.

Hayley Hunt tallied a season-high of 16 saves against the Black Knights. She is ranked 23rd in the nation in save percentage (48.3%).

Saturday's game will feature two of the league's top three scorers. Katia Carnevale ranks second in the league (2.80 goals per game), and Allie Boyce from Bucknell is also averaging 2.80 goals per game.

Lehigh is 35-12 all-time against Bucknell. The Mountain Hawks have won the last 12 meetings. The last time Lehigh lost was on March 7, 2009. Lehigh won 16-11 last year at the Ulrich Sports Complex, behind five goals and two assists from Schneider.

Saturday's game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
