Lehigh to Host Boston University on Senior Day

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh women's basketball team won its fourth straight game on Wednesday and will look to keep it going when the Mountain Hawks welcome Boston University on Saturday for a 4 p.m. matchup with the Terriers. It will also be senior day for Anna Harvey and Frannie Hottinger

Harvey and Hottinger have won 63 games together throughout their four years. The two Minnesota natives are having an incredible senior season. Harvey leads the league in assists per game (4.2) and assist-to-turnover ratio (2.1), and Hottinger leads the league in scoring (20.7 points per game). 

The Mountain Hawks come into Saturday's game with a 15-12 overall record (11-5 PL), and Boston University remains the lone undefeated team in the Patriot League with 16 wins. The Terriers have an overall record of 21-6. 

The Mountain Hawks and the Terriers have the two longest win streaks in the Patriot League. Both teams have clinched a home Patriot League Quarterfinal game. 

The Mountain Hawks are coming off their first series sweep of Bucknell since 2011. Mackenzie Kramer had a game-high of 31 points and was 5-of-7 from beyond the arc. Kramer tied her career-high, which she last set against Lafayette last season. First-year Lily Fandre had a career-high of 16 points against the Bison. She was 4-of-7 from beyond the arc. 

Hottinger had 18 points, which marked the 26th game she's recorded double digits. Hottinger is now a record holder after scoring 560 points this season, which is the most points a Lehigh player has ever scored in a single season.

Boston University's most recent game was against Army. The Terriers came out on top 77-70. It marked the closest game the Terriers have played in the league so far this season. The Terriers also had a 30-point scorer in their last game. Caitlin Weimar scored 32 points, which was a career high. 

Lehigh and Boston Univeristy are the two top-scoring offenses in the league. Lehigh is averaging 71.7 points per game, and the Terriers are averaging 69.0 points per game. 

In the first meeting of the season, The Terriers won 82-69. It was a pretty even matchup for three quarters. The second quarter would be the difference, with Boston U. outscoring Lehigh 21-8 


Lehigh is 11-10 all-time against Boston University.

The Mountain Hawks will wrap up the season against Army on Wednesday.
