Lehigh places 12 on men's honor roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh placed 12 student-athletes on the Patriot League Men’s Academic Honor Roll for the spring semester led by senior Cody Smart’s 3.70 grade point average. Other Mountain Hawks named were seniors Greg Bosch, Dave Merola, Sam Kirk, Rob Hampson and Brian Seaback, juniors Brian Ahearn, Steve Rosinski and Victor Vientos, sophomores Kyle Manning and Brian Voorhis and freshman C. Austin Wade. To be eligible for the honor roll, a student-athlete must obtain at least a 3.2 GPA and be a starter or key reserve in his/her sport.

In all there were 144 student-athletes on the men’s honor roll, led by Navy’s Michael Niemi, the 2006 Scholar Athlete of the Year.
