HISTORY
The Ulrich Sports Complex is a three-field complex that possesses an astrograss turf, a field turf, and a natural grass field, Ulrich is home to the Lehigh field hockey, men's/women's soccer and men's/women's lacrosse teams. A concession stand is placed near the main entrance of the complex with restrooms adjoined on each side. A common press box connects both the Soccer and Lacrosse fields as this complex was built to accommodate activities on both fields. The Field Hockey turf was built with its own seating and press box. 

In 1999, a team of students from various majors at Lehigh conceptually designed the complex as part of a class project. The team combined its knowledge of engineering, architecture, marketing, and budgeting to design a complex that would serve the needs of our sports programs who use the complex. In 2009, the second phase of the complex was complete as a field turf surface was added to the East end providing a permanent field for the field hockey program. After this addition, some improvements followed on the lacrosse field with new astro-grass, imaging, and dedication to a new field name, Banko Field, in recognition to the generous support of Frank Banko '41.   A third phase was completed in the summer of 2015 as the complex saw an additional halftime building, named the Gould-Shenfeld Center, added to North end, opposite the main entrance between the Soccer and Lacrosse fields.
