ON COACH LAMBINUS: “Coach Lambinus is a very friendly, welcoming and experienced coach. He puts great care into each individual player’s well-being, and he focuses a great deal on pulling the team together to perform to the best of its ability. He is very dedicated to what he does, and it was reflected in the team’s performance in his first year at Lehigh.”
AS A SENIOR (2014): Played in 15 games (starting 14) while dishing two assists for the season … Finished with 15 shots, seven on goal … Had three shots and two on goal on Senior Night against Army (10/18) … Tallied two shots in consecutive Patriot League games, at Bucknell (9/26) and Lafayette (10/1). Also dished an assist in win over the Leopards … Fired a shot on goal at Central Connecticut State (9/14) … Finished with two shots on goal in win at Mount St. Mary’s (8/31) … Opened the season with a shot against Binghamton (8/24) … Named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
AS A JUNIOR (2013): One of six Mountain Hawks to start all 17 games … Led the team in goals (4) and points (9) … Recorded 32 shots (second on the team) and 15 shots on goal (tied for first) … Had a team-leading two game-winning goals … Scored first-career goal early in the game against Pacific (9/13) … Assisted one of the team’s goals against Bucknell (9/27) … Tallied Lehigh’s lone goal in 1-1 tie at Penn (9/29) … Scored the first goal during a big win against Loyola (10/12), finishing the game with five shots and three shots on goal … Scored the game’s only goal in the season finale against Holy Cross (11/2). Fired three shots on goal … Mountain Hawks were 3-0-1 when Salans scored a goal.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2012): Played in all 18 games as a defender/midfielder (starting 15), dishing two assists on the season ... Also posted 12 shots (five on goal) ... Started the first 11 games, tallying assists in back-to-back games vs. Atlantic 10 squads Saint Joseph’s (9/21) and La Salle (9/23) ...
