WHY LEHIGH? “I am excited to join the women's soccer program at Lehigh. Playing at Lehigh offers me an opportunity to play the sport I love, while receiving a top-notch education. The campus is also beautiful, and the coaching staff and players were extremely welcoming.”
AS A SENIOR (2017): Garnered first team All-League for second straight season … Also named third team All-Region for second straight year, garnering United Soccer Coaches recognition (formally NSCAA) … Started all 18 games as a staple on Lehigh’s back line … Played all but six minutes on the season, firing five shots (three on goal) … Mountain Hawks’ defense allowed 12 goals in 18 games, the exact same mark as the year prior … Lehigh’s 0.67 GAA led the Patriot League and its 12 goals allowed were six fewer than anyone else in the league … Lehigh pitched nine shutouts to increase its total to 21 since the beginning of 2016, among the best marks in the nation and just one shy of the most combined shutouts in consecutive seasons in program history (22 from 2004-05) … Pitched league shutouts against Army West Point, Boston University, American, Lafayette, Loyola and Holy Cross … Received the Coaches Award at annual end-of-season banquet ... AS A SOPHOMORE (2015): Emerged as a starter on defense, starting all 18 games with one goal and one assist … Defense finished the season with six shutouts, allowing just 1.28 goals per game … Fired six shots on the season, scoring on her only shot on goal … Tallied a career-high two shots in double overtime victory over Lafayette (10/21) … Had a shot in Patriot League contests at Army West Point (10/3) and vs. Colgate (9/26) … Assisted on the go-ahead goal in win over Saint Joseph’s (9/13) … Scored the game’s first goal, which proved to be the game-winner at Binghamton (8/30). Goal came just 1:50 into the game. Defense allowed just three shots in the victory.
AS A FRESHMAN (2014): Played in two games as a freshman, at Colgate (10/25) and vs. Penn (10/28) … Fired a shot on goal against the Quakers.
BEFORE LEHIGH: Comes to Lehigh from Scotch Plains in New Jersey … While at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School, was a dominant force as a four-year letterwinner for the Raiders … Captured a county championship, a conference championship and made it all the way to the New Jersey State Sectional match in each of her four years … Recognized for her impact, being honored as a four-time All-County All-Star as well as earning All-State laurels as a senior … Named the 2014 Athletic MVP for Scotch Plains High School … Played high school soccer with Tori Pantaleao who is one year ahead of her at Lehigh … Captain with the Match Fit Chelsea Beat, coached by Dominick Bucci … After winning the 2012 New Jersey State Cup, the Beat made 2013 their most successful year yet by winning the State Cup then placing second at both the Region I Championships and US Youth Soccer Nationals … Team competes in both the National League and the ECNL in the 2013-2014 season … Club team won the 2014 State Cup Championship … Member of the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Varsity basketball team as a freshman and sophomore … Was a four-year honor roll student and creator of the Student Athletic Leadership Team at Scotch Plains High School … Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School’s 2014 Athletic MVP.
