
Women's Lacrosse places 17 student-athletes on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Enjoying strong success in the classroom, the Lehigh women's lacrosse team placed 17 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced on Thursday. Among Lehigh's honorees was senior Psychology major Nicole Isdaner, who posted a perfect 4.0 GPA in the spring semester.

To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.

All four Lehigh seniors finished with a spring GPA of 3.85 or higher. Hannah Street tallied a 3.92 GPA in Management, Megan Paytas recorded a 3.90 GPA in Psychology and Kendall Garden had a 3.85 GPA in Environmental Studies. Sophomore Kayleen Kelly, the team's Scholar-Athlete of the Year, was next with a 3.82 GPA in Bioengineering while sophomore Nicolette Dunphy posted a 3.71 GPA in Computer Science and Business.

Not far behind was sophomore Kelly McBrearty (Business), who posted a 3.69 spring GPA, and junior Krista Dampman (Finance), who tallied a 3.68 GPA. Junior, Patriot League Attacker of the Year and Academic All-League honoree Allison LaBeau was also among the honorees, recording a 3.38 spring GPA in Design Arts. All four of Lehigh's All-League honorees were named to the honor roll. Along with Garden and LaBeau, junior Julianne D'Orazio recorded a 3.28 GPA in Economics and classmate Lauren Beausoleil tallied a 3.23 GPA in Management.

Lehigh ended its 2016 season with a 13-5 record, just one win from tying the school record after winning a school-record six Patriot League games in the regular season. The Mountain Hawks earned a big win at Boston University, hosted and won a league tournament game for the first time since 2010 while playing in the Patriot League Semifinals for the first time since 2011. Lehigh returns a strong group of players in 2017, led by D'Orazio, LaBeau and Beausoleil who all earned All-Patriot League honors in 2016.
