Eleven Mountain Hawks earn spots on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Eleven members of the Lehigh women's basketball team were named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league Wednesday.
Seniors Kerry Kinek and Elizabeth Sharlow led the way for the Mountain Hawks with perfect 4.0 spring semester grade point averages in their respective Supply Chain Management and Psychology majors. Classmate Elizabeth Jordan followed with a 3.90 semester GPA, while fellow senior Amina Affini earned a mark of 3.6. All four seniors wrap up their careers as four time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll members.
Junior Lexi Martins, the 2015-16 Patriot League Women's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year, also landed on the list with a 3.77 semester GPA as a Political Science major.
Of the 11 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll members, nine Mountain Hawks earned semester GPAs of 3.60 or greater to qualify for Lehigh's Dean's List.
Loyola led the way with 13 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll members, while Lehigh followed with 11.
To be eligible for the Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
