Patriot League Release | Tickets for PLT Quarterfinal Game Monday

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The Lehigh women's basketball team landed four Mountain Hawks on All-Patriot League squads as the league announced its major awards and All-League teams Friday morning. Junior Lexi Martins earned first team All-League laurels, while sophomore Quinci Mann claimed a spot on the second team. Junior Kerry Kinek was awarded with third team All-League plaudits to become Lehigh's second-ever four-time All-League selection. Freshman Hailey Pascoe grabbed a spot on the All-Rookie squad.

Martins finished the regular season as Lehigh's leader in points, rebounds and assists with averages of 15.3 points, 13.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. The Irvington, N.Y. native's 13.8 rebounds per game ranks first in all of Division I, while her 23 double-doubles are tied for second-most in the nation. Martins set a number of records this season including the Patriot League and Lehigh single-season rebounding record. She has pulled down 400 rebounds, besting the previous league record of 390 that was set in the 2003-04 season by Desire Almind of Bucknell. Martins also set a new Patriot League single-game rebounding record at NJIT on Nov. 19 when she pulled down 23 boards. The junior recently became Lehigh's 18th 1,000-point scorer and seventh-ever member of the 1,000 point/500 rebound club. She has secured 860 rebounds throughout her career which currently ranks third on Lehigh's all-time rebounding leaders list. This is the second All-League honor of Martins' career as she earned second team All-League laurels as a sophomore.

Mann grabbed second team All-League honors after tallying 13.3 points per game and making a team-best 54 three-pointers this season. The sophomore's 84.7 free throw percentage ranks second-best in the league, while her 42.9 three-point field goal percentage ranks fourth in the Patriot League. Mann finished league play with 13.4 points per game, 37 assists and a 44.6 three-point field goal percentage. She scored in double-figures in 20 of Lehigh's 29 games this season, including five 20-plus point efforts. Mann earned All-Rookie honors as a freshman a season ago.

Kinek becomes the second-ever Mountain Hawk and just the sixth Patriot League player to earn All-Patriot League honors in all four years of her career, joining former Lehigh standout Anne Tierney in the exclusive ranks. Kinek has been named third team All-Patriot in each of the last three seasons and earned first team All-League status as a freshman. The Whitehall, Pa. native wrapped up her senior season with 11.4 points and 8.0 rebounds per game and tallied double-figure points in 14 games. Kinek has tallied 1,546 points and 948 rebounds throughout her career, putting her as No. 5 on Lehigh's all-time leading scorers list and No. 2 on Lehigh's all-time rebounding leaders chart.

Pascoe making the All-Rookie team marks the fourth-straight year that the Mountain Hawks have been represented on the squad. The freshman started in 24 of the regular season's 29 games, averaging 3.4 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. The Concord, Calif. native made 23 three-pointers this season and scored a career-high nine points on two occasions.

Lehigh wrapped up the regular season with a 17-12 overall record and 10-8 mark in Patriot League play. The fourth-seeded Mountain Hawks will host No. 5 Holy Cross in the Patriot League Quarterfinals on Monday in Stabler Arena. Tickets can be purchased on Lehightickets.com or by calling 610-7LU-GAME.
