BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh women's basketball team will welcome NJIT to Stabler Arena on Wednesday evening, looking to snap a two-game losing skid. The Mountain Hawks dropped both games over the weekend at the Christmas City Classic, including an 81-57 loss to Norfolk State and a 73-62 setback against Monmouth. Lehigh shot just 30.5 percent (39-for-128) from the field over the two games, including 28.6 percent (10-for-35) from three-point range and just 20 percent in the fourth quarters of both games.

The bulk of Lehigh's points came from junior Quinci Mann and freshman Gena Grundhoffer, with Mann scoring 21 against Monmouth, while Grundhoffer added 17 points and nine rebounds. Mann also accounted for five of the team's 10 three-pointers in the two games, moving her up to fourth in the Patriot League in 3FG% at 32.6 percent. Mae Williams tied her season/career-high with seven rebounds in 19 minutes against Monmouth.

In the Norfolk State game, the Spartans shot 53.3 percent and outscored the Mountain Hawks 16-0 in transition. Bryce Menendez scored a career-high six points off the bench and pulled in a pair of rebounds. Cameryn Benz tallied seven points and five rebounds, and Hailey Pascoe scored eight points off the bench.

For her efforts, Mann was one of six players named to the Christmas City Classic All-Tournament team, averaging 17 points, three assists and two steals on the weekend.

THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME
Lehigh is currently in the midst of playing seven of its 11 non-league games at home this season, the highest percentage (63.6) of non-league home games in at least the last 20 seasons. Following a 3-0 start at home, the Mountain Hawks are currently 3-2 at Stabler Arena after finishing last season 10-6 on their home floor.

HOT AGAINST THE ATLANTIC SUN
NJIT is one of only four teams Lehigh has faced from the eight-team Atlantic Sun Conference. Outside of NJIT, Lehigh has faced Lipscomb in a 77-60 win on Nov. 13, 2009, and is 2-0 against North Florida, with the most recent matchup coming in 2009. Lehigh's only loss came at Jacksonville in an 80-60 defeat on Dec. 2, 2007. Three of those four matchups have come on the road. Lehigh is 13-1 all-time against the conference.

HISTORIC STREAK ON THE LINE
Lehigh enters Wednesday night's matchup with a 10-0 record against NJIT, the most wins without a loss against any opponent in program history. The next closest opponent is Allentown College (now DeSales) at 9-0. The next closest Division I opponents are Fairfield and Robert Morris at 4-0.

PUT ON ICE AT THE CLASSIC
Lehigh fell in both games of this year's Christmas City Classic featuring Monmouth, Hartford and Norfolk State at Stabler Arena. It marked the first time since the 1997 inaugural tournament, and just the second time ever, that Lehigh went winless in its own tournament. Ironically, Monmouth made its only other trip to the Christmas City Classic in 1997 and defeated Lehigh 76-75.

NIGHT HAWKS
Lehigh has won both of its night games so far this season, while holding a 2-3 record in day games.

IT'S ON US
On Wednesday night, Lehigh women's basketball will be supporting the It's On Us campaign, an initiative aimed at combating sexual assault on college campuses. The event is part of a series of events on campus. Teal It's On Us t-shirts will be handed out to students at the door and all in attendance are encouraged to wear teal.

POLARIZING ON THE BOARDS
Lehigh ranks second in the Patriot League by collecting 43 rebounds per game, but comes in ninth with 43.9 boards per game. Overall, Lehigh's rebounding margin of -0.9 ranks sixth in the PL.

Lehigh has a completely new look to its front court this year with the graduation of Kerry Kinek and Lexi Martins, the second and third leading career rebounders in program history. Martins, who graduated a year early and transferred to George Washington, ranked third in the nation last year with 13.6 rebounds per game. Departed seniors Elizabeth Sharlow (4.3 rpg) and Amina Affini (2.7 rpg) rounded out the team's top four rebounders from 2015-16. Overall, the Mountain Hawks lost over 83 percent of their rebounds and 91 percent of their blocks from last season.

SCOUTING THE HIGHLANDERS
NJIT enters Wednesday's contest with 3-3 record and on the third leg of a four-game road trip. The Highlanders are coming off a 50-48 victory against LIU Brooklyn in the TD Bank Classic hosted by the University of Vermont on freshman Tracey Brereton's career-best 10 points in 11 minutes of action off the bench. Brereton put the Highlanders ahead for good with a bucket with 1:01 remaining in the game and scored the final eight points of the game for NJIT.

The Highlanders are led by two players averaging double-figure totals in seniors Alana Dudley (12.3 ppg) and Leah Horton (11.7 ppg). Dudley has scored in double-digits in five of the Highlanders six games, with a high of 20 in the season-opener against Wagner. She has at least one assist the first six games. Horton, who ranks second on the team in scoring, has recorded double-digit scoring totals in four of NJIT's six contests and is shooting 50 percent from the field (30-60).

Freshman forward Danielle Tunstall, who started off the season with back-to-back double-doubles, paces the Highlanders with 42 total rebounds (7.0 rpg) while averaging 7.0 ppg, which ranks the freshman third on the team.

Redshirt freshman Jillian Libby is second on the team averaging 6.7 rpg. Libby has recorded at least five rebounds in each of the first six games, with a career-best eight in the home opener vs. Wagner.

Sophomore Jordan Ireland paces the Highlanders from behind the arc with nine total treys.  Ireland is coming off a personal-best nine points vs. LIU.

Opening tip is scheduled for 7 p.m. from Stabler Arena.
