BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh women's basketball team has been picked to finish second in the Patriot League preseason poll, the league announced on Wednesday. The Mountain Hawks were also one of five teams to receive at least one first place vote. Junior guard Quinci Mann was also named as one of five players on the preseason all-league team.

Mann is coming off a breakout sophomore campaign last season where she averaged 13.3 ppg and tallied a team-best 58 three-pointers. She was seventh in the Patriot League in scoring and her 82.3 free throw percentage ranked second in the league. She shot 43 percent from three-point range which put her fourth in the PL, en route to being named second team all-league. Mann was previously named to the Patriot League All-Rookie team in 2015 and has started all 62 games over the last two years.

Lehigh finished with an 18-13 record in 2015-16, earning the No. 4 seed in the Patriot League Tournament after compiling a 10-8 record in league play. Lehigh defeated Holy Cross in the first round of the league tournament before falling in the semifinals at eventual league champion Army West Point.

Bucknell takes home the top spot in the preseason rankings, collecting 16 of the 20 first place votes and 156 points. Lehigh follows in second with 120 points and one first place tally, with Army one point behind in third place. Holy Cross, American and Navy land in spots three through six, respectively, with each receiving one first place vote.

The Mountain Hawks will open the season on Friday, Nov. 11 at Stabler Arena against East Stroudsburg.
