Patriot League Release
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Twelve members of the Lehigh baseball team were named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league on Wednesday.
A trio of Mountain Hawk seniors led the way as all three earned semester grade point averages of 3.60 or above to qualify for Lehigh's Dean's List. Senior Patrick Walshe tallied a 3.76 GPA in his Supply Chain Management major, while classmate Nick Stephens (Political Science) followed close behind with a 3.75 mark. Connor Faust, a management major, also landed on Dean's List with a 3.60 semester GPA. Two-time Academic All-Patriot League member junior Mike Garzillo also earned a spot on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll with a 3.45 semester GPA as a management major.
To be eligible for the Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
A strong semester in the classroom builds upon Lehigh's historic 2015 season in which the Mountain Hawks captured their second-ever league crown and made an appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
