Mountain Hawks lead league with ten Academic Honor Roll members

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – A league-best ten members of the Lehigh women's basketball team earned spots on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league on Tuesday.

Lehigh led the way with 10 honor roll selections, followed by Bucknell with eight. American, Army West Point, Holy Cross and Lafayette each had seven academic honor roll members.
Â
Senior Sarah Williams led the way for Lehigh in the spring with a 3.92 semester grade point average in her International Relations major. Sophomore Kiernan McCloskey, a member of Lehigh's College of Business and Economics, wasn't far behind with a 3.75 semester GPA, while junior Elizabeth Jordan tallied a 3.74 GPA as a Spanish and Hispanic Studies major.

Of the ten Patriot League Academic Honor Roll members, five Mountain Hawks earned semester GPAs greater than 3.60 to qualify for Lehigh's Dean's List.

To be eligible for the Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
