Lehigh places 12 on Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa.—Twelve members of the Lehigh women's cross country team earned spots on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league on Tuesday.
Sophomore Anne Birkenmaier (Business) and graduate student Hannah Pierce (Elementary Education) led the Mountain Hawks with a 4.0 grade point averages. Birkenmaier and Pierce were two of 17 members on the Patriot League Honor Roll to achieve a 4.0 grade point average or higher.
Following close behind were freshman Jennifer Burke (Business), freshman Hannah Leskow (Engineering), junior Carlie Skellington (Biology) and senior Shannon Wright (Biology), who all achieved semester GPAs of a 3.90 or above.
Of the 12 Lehigh students selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, eight students qualified for Lehigh University's Dean's List with a grade point average of a 3.6 or higher.
Eight of Lehigh's 12 Academic Honor Roll members earned Dean's List recognition with GPAs of 3.6 or higher. To be selected to the Patriot League Honor Roll, student-athletes must achieve a grade point average of 3.2 or higher and be a current athlete on the team's roster.
In total, 131 student-athletes were selected to the Patriot League Women's Cross Country Honor Roll, led by Bucknell (28), Boston University (15) and Loyola (14).
