Reilly Named to Academic All-Patriot League Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Following a breakout sophomore season, cross country's Patrick Reilly has received Academic All-Patriot League honors, announced by the league on Friday.
The Arts and Sciences major has amassed a 4.0 GPA thus far at Lehigh and was named to the Patriot League Honor Roll last season, in addition to being a recipient of the Faculty Athletics Council Award. He is also a two-time member of the Dean's List.
In order to be eligible for Academic All-League, a student-athlete must be a non-freshman with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2, and have participated in the Patriot League Championships.
Reilly earned Second Team All-League honors this season after placing 14th overall at the league championships at Colgate on Oct. 31. He picked up his first career individual victory at the Lehigh Invitational and placed third at the Lafayette dual meet, helping the Mountain Hawks to perfect scores at both events. His 24th place finish in the Paul Short Gold race was the highest finish among Patriot League runners, He later went on to set a new personal 8K time of 24:31.1 at the Princeton Invitational.
Reilly will be one of seven Mountain Hawks to compete at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals on Friday, Nov. 13.
