WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – A threatening weather forecast forced 13 teams to double up and play 36 holes Sunday on day one of the Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate on the River Course at the Kingsmill Resort. Lehigh shot 650 over 36 holes with a 326 in the morning and a 324 in the afternoon to sit in sixth place after the opening day of competition.

Sophomore Nicole Feierberg led the Mountain Hawks on Sunday as she sits in a tie for 19th place at 79-83-162. Lehigh's low round on Sunday came from senior Crystal Lee, who fired an opening round 76, but Lee struggled in the afternoon shooting 90 and is tied for 33rd at 166. Freshman Elizabeth McGarrigle also shot 166 (84-82) and is tied with Lee for 33rd.

Lehigh's low round in the afternoon came from junior Alyssa Scheyd, who shot 77 to move into a tie for 26th at 87-77-164.

Junior Kelly Moylan was Lehigh's fifth scoring player as she bounced back from an opening round 90 with an 82 in the second round to stand in 50th place at 172.

Amanda Steinhagen of Longwood holds the individual lead at even par 144 (71-73). She holds a five stroke lead over two players.

Yale has four individuals in the top ten as the Bulldogs have the team lead at 305-311-616. The Bulldogs lead second place Longwood (322-304-626) by ten strokes. Lehigh is five strokes behind fifth place Radford and six ahead of Yale's B team and Sacred Heart.

Action at the Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate has already been cancelled Monday. Weather permitting, the tournament will conclude Tuesday with 18 holes beginning at 8:30 a.m.
