Patriot League Release

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh volleyball senior Jade Van Streepen has been named the Patriot League Player of the Week for the second straight week, as announced by the league on Monday afternoon.

Van Streepen registered her sixth double-double of the season with a career-high 26 kills and 14 digs to help lead Lehigh to a 3-2 win over regular-season champion American on Senior Day Saturday.  She averaged 5.20 kills and 2.50 digs per set to go along with a .310 hitting percentage as Lehigh handed American its first and only Patriot League loss of the season. This is the second Patriot League Player of the Week honor of Van Streepen's career. The first came last week after Lehigh swept Colgate and Bucknell.

No. 2 Lehigh will face No. 3 Navy in the semifinals Saturday at 4 p.m., while top-seeded American will take on No. 4 Army. The winners of the semifinal matches will advance to Sunday's championship match, which is set for 1 p.m. All matches can be viewed for free on the Patriot League Network.
