Lehigh places 11 student-athletes on Academic Honor Roll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh women's basketball team is well represented on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, which was announced by the league on Monday. Eleven Mountain Hawks earned a spot on the list following strong spring semesters in the classroom. The 11 honorees are tied with Holy Cross for the most in the Patriot League.
Leading the way was senior Sarah Pearce with a 3.93 semester grade point average in International Relations. Not far behind was junior Hilary Weaver, who posted a 3.92 GPA in Design Arts, and Academic All-Patriot League honoree Kelly Peterson with a mark of 3.91 in Economics.
Of the 11 student-athletes, nine posted GPAs over 3.6, which qualified them for Lehigh's Dean's List.
To be eligible for the Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
