
McCutchan named to All-Tournament Team

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Lehigh volleyball's Courtney McCutchan capped off her senior season by earning Patriot League All-Tournament Team honors, as announced by the league Sunday. McCutchan notched six kills and 11 digs while committing just one error in Lehigh's semifinal loss to American before the Eagles went on to claim the team crown.

The La Canada, Calif. native finished her career at Lehigh with another strong season. McCutchan ranked second on the team in digs with 243 and was in the top four in points, kills, assists and service aces to help the Mountain Hawks to their best record in over a decade. Lehigh finished the season with a 20-9 overall record that included an 11-5 Patriot League mark. This season marked the first time since 2002 that the Mountain Hawks have recorded 20 wins in a single season.

McCutchan appeared in 26 matches as a freshman, making a huge impact early on and being named Patriot League Rookie of the Week twice during the season. She maintained her success as a sophomore, finishing the year with 139 kills, 246 digs, 29 service aces and 20 blocks. As a junior, she registered double-doubles at Western Kentucky and Princeton and hit double-digits in kills three times throughout the year.

McCutchan will graduate in May with degrees in marketing and finance and was named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll in each of the past three seasons.Â
