BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Coming off a tough overtime loss to 2013 NCAA Tournament competitor Villanova on Education Day, the Lehigh women's basketball team will look to rebound Tuesday at 7 p.m. against Mount St. Mary's in Stabler Arena. The contest will air for free on the Patriot League Network.

The Mountain Hawks will look to close out their homestand on a strong note before hitting the road for a three-game slate. In its most recent game, Lehigh dropped an overtime thriller 79-73 to Villanova on Thursday inside Stabler Arena. The Wildcats tied the game at 62 to send the contest into overtime, where Villanova outscored Lehigh, 17-11.

Teammate Katie O'Reilly scored 17 points, tying her career high, along with four rebounds and three assists. Freshman Kayla Burton posted a new career high in both points (12) and assists (five).

The Mount (1-3) will be searching for just its second win of the season, but will be riding momentum from the Mountaineers 86-77 victory over IPFW on Saturday night at the Preseason WNIT.

Mount St. Mary's will come to Bethlehem with a 1-3 record after spending the beginning of its season competing in the Preseason WNIT. In its most recent game, Mount St. Mary's picked up its first win of the season over  IPFW, 86-77. Senior guard Sydney Henderson became the 26th player in Mount history to score 1,000 career points when she hit a pair of free throws with 8:18 to play in the first half.

With the game still in the balance and the Mount clinging to a 70-68 lead with 4:44 to go, the Mountaineers outscored IPFW (0-4) 16-9 down the stretch to pull away. The Mount dropped the first three games of the Preseason WNIT to Saint Joseph's (85-57), Davidson (83-82) and Idaho (81-63).

Henderson leads the Mountaineers with 22.0 points per game and has notched 20-plus points in each of the Mount's contests this season. Senior forward Jessie Kaufman is the team's leading rebounder, averaging 5.2 boards per game, and the team's second-leading scorer with an average of 11.0 points per game.

The Mount finished the 2012-13 season with a 15-16 overall record and made its first trip to the Northeast Conference Semifinals since 2001. Mount St. Mary's was projected to finish third in the NEC this season.

The Mountain Hawks will look to extend their streak to three straight over the Mount when the Mountaineers visit Tuesday. The Mount holds a 4-3 all-time advantage over Lehigh.

The teams most recently met in January, with Lehigh coming out victorious by a score of 66-57. Four Mountain Hawks recorded double-digit points in the win, led by Hilary Weaver with 19. Kerry Kinek added 12 points and nine rebounds, narrowly missing out on a double-double. Becky Guman added 11 points, while Katie O'Reilly tossed in 10.

Lehigh answered every Mount run and used clutch free throw shooting to hold off several Mount St. Mary's comeback attempts. Lehigh shot 36 percent from the field and 30 percent from long range, but the Mountain Hawks excelled from the line, hitting 23-of-28 free throws (82 percent) which proved to be a major factor in the win.

Following Tuesday's game, Lehigh will hit the road for a three game slate that begins with a Thursday trip to Fairfield to take on the Stags at 7 p.m. The Mountain Hawks will then head to Rhode Island on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. before traveling to Ohio State for a 7 p.m. Thanksgiving Eve contest.
